On July 12, 2021, the Penn Manor Board of School Directors will review the district’s draft Health and Safety Plan, and Penn Manor is seeking community feedback on the plan prior to this meeting.
This plan is required by the federal government because Penn Manor is receiving Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds. The plan must address how the district will maintain the health and safety of students, educators and staff and also provide guidelines for all instructional and non-instructional school activities.
Penn Manor School District is planning for students and staff to return to full-time in-person instruction for the 2021-2022 school year on August 30, 2021.

The Board of School Directors previously shared expectations for the 2021-2022 school year that include in-person instruction five (5) days a week. In addition, our expectation is that:
- Staff and students will not be required to wear face masks while at school.
- Staff and students will not be required to be vaccinated in order to work at or attend Penn Manor schools.
- Staff and students who wish to wear face masks as a mitigation measure will be permitted to do so, but that will be their personal choice.
Thank you for your input.
