Gov. Tom Wolf visited Hambright Elementary School Thursday to talk about his education funding priorities during a stop on his “Schools That Teach” Tour.
Wolf stressed the importance of increasing support for public education and talked about the impasse that has left Pennsylvania without a 2015-2016 budget. Prior to his address, Wolf greeted Penn Manor students, faculty and administrators gathered outside the school.
Superintendent Dr. Mike Leichliter thanked Wolf for making “Schools That Teach” a keystone of his administration.
