Congratulations to the Letort Elementary School STEM Bowl team, which placed fourth out of 24 teams in the recent Lancaster-Lebanon Unit 13 Elementary STEM Bowl.
The STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) competition featured 96 students in grades three to five from 17 school districts in Lancaster and Lebanon counties.
Teams of four students participated in the quiz bowl-style competition that included six 20-minute matches and two hands-on design and problem-solving activities.
The Letort team includes Cole Troop, Kaleb Kabakjian, Suren Clark and Anouk Landgraff. Penn Manor students from Conestoga, Martic, Central Manor and Pequea elementary schools also participated in the competition.
