Eshleman Elementary School was placed on lockdown at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 11, as a result of the recommendation of police, due to concerns about a community member with ties to the school. There is not an imminent danger to students, as Millersville Borough Police did not recommend any additional precautions. We are advising parents to continue with the normal school routine.
Millersville Borough Police advised the school district to proceed with a normal early dismissal at Eshleman. However, there will be an added police presence in the area.
We will provide updates as the situation warrants them.
